Intuitive Private Equity is a multi-strategy private equity firm based in Boulder, Colorado, and Silicon Valley. We invest in companies operating in a range of industries and sizes, from growth-oriented businesses to well-established enterprises. As an investor, Intuitive Private Equity finds value by identifying companies within innovative industries and enhancing their performance by providing capital and support to strong management teams. Among its portfolio companies are SolPad Inc., Sila Nanotechnologies Inc., Front Range Biosciences Inc., Maja Systems, and Next Frontier Biosciences. Intuitive Private Equity serves as the private investment arm of Robert Dobkin’s family office.
Robert, Chairman, and Gabe Fenton, President, have been working and investing together since 2003. Intuitive grew out of Robert’s 45 years of investment experience, including sitting on Boards of Directors, advisory councils, and having made several hundred private equity investments. Robert co-founded Linear Technologies (NASDAQ: LLTC), an analog integrated circuit company, in 1981, and in 2017, it was acquired by Analog Devices (NASDAQ: ADI) for $14.8 billion
WHO WE ARE
Today, Intuitive is the private investment arm of Mr. Dobkin’s family office and is run by Gabe Fenton, President. Gabe has twenty-five years of capital markets experience and has started numerous successful private businesses. In addition to his work with Intuitive Private Equity, Gabe is the President of The Robert and Kathleen Dobkin Intuitive Foundation.
Before joining Intuitive, Gabe founded Resolve Funding, a national private real estate lender that specializes in providing loans for real estate investors, builders, and developers. Earlier, he was a VP for Bernstein Private Wealth Management; Founder and General Partner of NetWide-Coor Capital (hedge fund); and SVP Wedbush Securities, where he was active in building the alternative investment platform. He was a Portfolio Manager for UBS Wealth Management and spent the three years prior to that at Morgan Stanley in San Francisco. Gabe served as a VP of finance for Wells Fargo Advisors and he began his professional career in 1991 as a financial consultant for John Hancock Insurance. Gabe authored the book Employee Stock Options: A Strategic Planning Guide for the 21st Century Optionaire in 2000.
Gabe has been a volunteer football and rugby coach at Boulder High School, as well as a YMCA sports coach specializing in weight training. Gabe is married to Jamie Paul Fenton. They have two sons, Jacob and Dylan, and make their home in Boulder, Colorado.
